We are constantly being inundated with information about what we should and should not be eating. But the truth is, there is not one umbrella diet that fits every body. Just like our perspective and our personalities, our bodies are unique, and what works for one person does not always work for another. I believe we should honor our uniqueness on every level including in our own personal diets.
Dis-Ease Is An Outer Expression Of An Underlying Imbalance
Symptoms are our body’s way of speaking to us, a check engine light that tells us whether we are driving down a path of health or a path of disease. These symptoms may begin as small bumps in the road, low energy, headaches, acne, sweet cravings, mood swings, but as we continue to ignore them, they increase in intensity resulting in high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and hormonal imbalances, until eventually we are thrown way off course into heart disease, diabetes, or cancer. The symptoms let us know that something deeper is going on under the hood. I believe if we effectively listen to our body, we can bring it back on a path of heath and balance by filling its tank with what it truly needs to create health.

Our bodies have evolved over thousands of years to recognize what is in nature as food. There is an energetic exchange that flows through all of nature. Plants absorb sunlight, animals eat plants, and humans eat animals. The cycle goes on and on. What we take in when we eat can be described as an energetic exchange of information in the form of nutrients, and the ideal source of this is from Food.

Health and vitality is your body’s natural state. Just as your body has a program for health to heal a cut finger, your body has a program for health that always wants to run to fulfillment. Your body knows how to be healthy. The program is in your DNA and is more powerful than any genetic predisposition for cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Your body is meant to operate at its full genetic potential, and it will when given the right resources (the right foods, the right rest, the right exercise, and the right thoughts).
